Process
The Supplier Material Tracking system allows AEN planning and logistics functions to monitor the progress of supplies from order issue to the arrival of materials at their destination: Suppliers are responsible for:
- dividing the supply into individual components and entering the appropriate test dates
- periodic progress reports
- communication of any delivery delays
- producing shipment documents (Packing list)
- sending contract documentation, raising invoice requests
Aen is responsible for:
- publishing orders
- acknowledging progress reports and test/delivery dates
- providing shipment information
- verifying the documentation sent by suppliers
- approving invoice issue
- recording the arrival of the goods on site
AEN enables suppliers to use the site by sending them connection details and confidential passwords.
