Process

The Supplier Material Tracking system allows AEN planning and logistics functions to monitor the progress of supplies from order issue to the arrival of materials at their destination: Suppliers are responsible for:

• dividing the supply into individual components and entering the appropriate test dates
• periodic progress reports
• communication of any delivery delays
• producing shipment documents (Packing list)
• sending contract documentation, raising invoice requests

Aen is responsible for:

• publishing orders
• acknowledging progress reports and test/delivery dates
• providing shipment information
• verifying the documentation sent by suppliers
• approving invoice issue
• recording the arrival of the goods on site

AEN enables suppliers to use the site by sending them connection details and confidential passwords.
