Hydrogenerators - general characteristics
All Hydrogenerators and generator-motors have indirect air cooled stator and rotor windings. Stator core is direct cooled with air. Both axial and radial self-ventilating configurations are adopted.
According to generator arrangement, the rotor is supported with guide, thrust, combined thrust-guide bearings or pedestal bearings in horizontal morphology.

AD = Adjustable fan blades pitch
R = Rim ventilation
M = Motor fans (reversible)

Protection degree: Max. IP 54 (IEC 60034-5)
Excitation: static (standard) or brushless
Thermal insulation class: F; thermally loaded only to class B
Coolers arrangement: - around the frame
- in the foundation
Installation:

- in building, cavern
- pit or floor mounted
