Rome,, 23 July 2009 Ansaldo Energia sings contracts with Sorgenia for the plant in Aprilia Ansaldo Energia, a Finmeccanica [FNC IM; SIFI.MI] company leader in the supply of components and services for power generation plants, has signed a contract with Sorgenia to build a “turnkey” 800 MW combined-cycle power station in the municipality of Aprilia (Latina); Ansaldo Energia was also assigned the multi-year maintenance contract for the gas turbines and related generators. The acquisition of these new orders is in line with expectations. Ansaldo Energia’s backlog is around 4 billion euro.
24 young talents, having a degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Materials science, will be hired up by Ansaldo Energia from July 1st 2009 and will get a Master degree while working in our R&D department.
